Breast
Yes Together we can plan the new you!

For many women who would like to feel shapelier and better proportioned, breast augmentation offers a solution. Whether you would like to wear certain clothes, make your waist appear smaller, or simply restore the way you once looked before age and pregnancy took their toll, breast augmentation can help you achieve your goals. In breast augmentation, a small incision is placed in a hidden area and a saline or silicon gel implant is placed behind the breast. The implant may be placed above or below the muscle, depending on your individual body type and personal goals. After the procedure, a soft, conforming bra is worn for about four weeks to control swelling and the position of the implants. Normal activities are gradually resumed over the same period of time.

Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure to enhance the size and shape of a woman's breast.

Surgery for breast augmentation is done for a number of reasons:
1. To enhance the body contour of a woman who, for personal reasons, feels her breast size is too small
2. To correct a reduction in breast volume after pregnancy
3. To balance a difference in breast size.
4. T o reconstruct breast in pts who has undergone removal of breast for breast cancer.

By inserting an implant behind the breasts, it is possible to increase a woman's bustline by one or more bra cup sizes.
If you're considering breast augmentation, this will give you a basic understanding of the procedure -- when it can help, how it's performed, and what results you can expect. It can't answer all of your questions, since a lot depends on your individual circumstances. Please ask your surgeon if there is anything you don't understand about the procedure. The best candidates for breast augmentation are women who are looking for improvement, not perfection, in the way they look. If you're physically healthy and realistic in your expectations, you may be a good candidate.

  Risks

Risk involved in surgery is very little.
As with any surgical procedure, operation may cause some swelling and pain.. A very very small percentage of women develop an infection around an implant. This may occur at any time, but is most often seen within a week after surgery. In some cases, the implant may need to be removed for several months until the infection clears. A new implant can then be inserted.
Some women may report that their nipples become oversensitive, under sensitive, or even numb. These symptoms usually disappear within time, but may be permanent in some patients. There is no evidence that breast implants will affect fertility, pregnancy, or your ability to feed newborn baby
Breast implants may break or leak due to trauma or extreme pressure, but it occurs in a very very small percentage of cases.

The surgery

The method of inserting and positioning the implant will depend on the patient's anatomy and the surgeon's recommendation. The incision can be made either in the crease where the breast meets the chest, around the areola (the dark skin surrounding the nipple), or in the armpit. All efforts are made to assure that the incision is placed so that the resulting scars will be as inconspicuous as possible.Through the incision, a pocket is created, either directly behind the breast tissue or underneath the chest wall muscle (the pectoral muscle). The implants are then centered beneath the nipples. The surgery usually takes one to two hours to complete. Stitches are used to close the incisions, which may also be taped for greater support. A gauze bandage is applied over the breasts to help with healing.
